BretonPride
Discorotica late afternoon/evening party. 1st birthday celebration!
𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗯𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝘀 🏳️⚧️🎉
The 24th of May marked one year since our nights inception! 🎂
we couldn't let the anniversary pass by without inviting you all to a celebration so we will be hosting our birthday event at @_cafe_momus_ on the 13th of June!
As it's pride month we have looped in the lovely people at @queerdistrictcollective to make this one of the many varied and fantastic events taking place along the Breton Pride Trail, celebrating and highlighting queer events in Bretonside and beyond through the month of June!
𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀
We will be running at slightly different hours to our usual, we will be kicking off at 5pm with a more chilled synth/ 80s and Miami vice themed start. As the sun begins to set we will begin moving through darker and more expansive electronic sounds before finally transitioning into our peak time high energy vibes and taking you on a journey into the deepest depths of sounds and energy, encapsulating our past meets present signature soundscape honouring queer nightlife and culture through history 🪩
𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 | 𝗗𝗢𝗧𝗗
We will be operating on a free entry basis to make this more accessible and affordable for all, especially with so many events happening around June and the current COLC with the optional donation on the door to go towards the local LGBTQIA+ fundraiser pot by @plymouthcommunitypride
(You can find more information on this and how they are supporting local queer people on their page)
Finally we acknowledge there is a lot happening in June and on this day itself so please support what events you can!
As a community we thrive best when we are supporting each other 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈
If you want us to display a flyer or resources at this event get in touch so we can arrange this 🫂

Queer Ancestors Ceremony @ Bretonpride 2026
Come celebrate and honour the queer ancestors who paved the way for us with a special ceremony filled with love and respect!
Come join us for a special gathering at Sappho's Cafe where we will honor and celebrate our Queer Ancestors as part of Bretonpride 2026
This event is a unique opportunity to connect with the past, present, and future of the LGBTQ+ community. Through storytelling, music, and ritual, we will pay tribute to those who came before us and paved the way for our freedom and rights.
Join a ritual ceremony to honour and remember our queer ancestors, by building a queer ancestor shrine/altar and sharing a simple ceremony and meditation to hold their memory. The ceremony is designed to be accessible by people of all faiths and none.
We'll share stories of inspiring figures from the past, a simple candle lighting ritual and a craft event creating colourful protective charms for those taking part in pride events and marches.
Let's come together to share our stories, honor our history, and build a stronger community. Don't miss this powerful and meaningful ceremony!
You may like to bring flowers and items or photos that remind you of queer ancestors/history.
